MWPL U21 Friendly Recap

Club Atletico Saint Louis and St. Louis City SC competed in a friendly over the weekend on the training grounds home to the new MLS team.  The U21s battled eachother giving 23 players an opportunity to showcase their abilities to Midwest Premier League U21 Head Coach, Ricardo Garza.

The boys played their hearts out for 90 minutes against a very strong and organized team lead by a great coach, Luis Swisher.  To identify players in this environment makes my job easier to see their strengths and weaknesses.  The second half was a great opportunity to change tactics and see this fresh group of future Atletico players raise their level.-Garza

The Club Atletico U21 group of prospects will play their final match next weekend against new MWPL team, St. Louis Stars.  The players will have one last game to showcase why they should represent Club Atletico this summer.
